Notable Set Designers and Theater Productions Coming to South FL

Event planners can find inspiration almost anywhere. Set design is an important part of any theatre production, as almost every show will utilize some sort of set. Sets can be pure fantasy or very realistic, and they are a chance for a designer to showcase artistic concepts and new techniques. Take a look at these upcoming stage productions to find inspiration for your next event.

Decorating an event, like a theatre set should:

  • create mood and atmosphere
  • suggest the style and tone of the whole production/event
  • Inform the specific time and place of the action

The event setting/play may also need to be designed so the backstage areas used by the actors or event staff are kept out of sight from the audience/attendees. This will depend on the effect the director/planner wants to create with the staging.
